Sounds like they're playing off on the corruption problems some people (myself included) have experienced with VFP and Win2K. But, I have heard, the problems are dramatically reduced with SP4.

What seems to be the bigger issue here is why a Microsoft Solutions Provider is bad-mouthing one of the Visual Studio tools. This is an issue that should be raised with the right people at MS. I'm sure that if the letter said "Are you tired of application bloat with Visual Basic?" that heads would roll.
