Hi Nadya,

Stretch with Overflow is an SOB to code into Word automation calls. First off, you have to determine if the text will overflow the boundaries. Sounds easy but it isn't when you take into account font sizes, true length of the text in points, etc....This is tricky math. Second, you have to split stretched text into two Word textboxes on page boundaries because Word behavior is to just continue off the bottom margin into oblivion.

Fabio Vieira (a co-author for the latest version) and I have been kicking around how to do this for weeks. Believe me, if I could reasonably resolve this problem I would. Frankly, I'm sort of waiting for a better brain to get ahold of the source and figure out a solution.

As to progress bar, yes, you mentioned it before but I don't want to do that because it would be adding UI to the class and that would make it less convertable to a DLL, which has been asked for far more frequently. It should be easy for you to customize your copy if you like by throwing a method call into the big loop at the end of the ReportForm method that places the objects into Word.

I tried on one report, which uses Stretch with Overflow and it looks not right in a Word Document. Therefore my question is: how difficult would be to support this feature? I'm afraid, otherwise this utility has a serious limitation :( The other suggestion, which I already made, and which would probably contradict with future enhancements, is to add a User's feedback, like progress bar. Otherwise it looks like the VFP hangs up and it would frighten the users.
