The answer is: no, they don't, at least not the Explorer.exe problem. I don't think it's related...it's a LAN standard configuration problem, IMO, since the problems do not exist with a "naked" NT install, only after installing our standard network software and apps. However, the same SW installs okay (according to the LAN folks) on LAN NT machines. Other testers have reported various problems similar to mine, though...
Note that most testers with problems are using older machines (Dell 300/64s usually), whereas LAN has brand new machines for testing. Also, LAN people usually have separate NT admin accounts. The rest of us are stuck using a jury-rigged "LAN account add-on" method (local account with LAN account added on top) - though the same method works fine for NT Servers.
In order to test properly, I'm going to get a new machine, and try to wheedle a separate NT account, as well.
