Which ASP are you talking about? In the San Francisco Bay Area, if you see ASP it normally means ” Application Service Provider”, and not Active Server Pages. It could mean:

Active Server Pages
Application Service Provider
American Society of Proctology

At any rate the person who made the comment referenced above is the wrong end of the horse!
