That is correct. The message has nothing to do with the foxuser.dbf that we usually think of when we think of a "resource file". This messages refers to the language-specific DLL that VFP uses to load resources such as strings. The English DLL is VFP6ENU.DLL, and the German one is VFP6DEU.DLL, for instance. Chinese versions come in traditional and simplied versions, so the DLLs will be different depending on which version is installed.

If one needs to keep two or more versions on the same box, it's possible to use the -L switch I referred to in another message. Doing this, you can switch back and forth as needed. I do this all the time when testing several localized versions of VFP on the same box.
