About your comment "I can't seem to get to these controls with X3DTHACK" - you dont see the form objects in the X3DTHACK grid after selecting the FORM you want to hack? What happens when you DO X3DTHACK and select your form?

The X3DTHACK tool lists all the form objects and you can filter the objects u wish to update - commandbuttons for example. You could change the class and the classlibrary values for these items in the grid to point to your own classes. If a commandbutton is based on 'CmdBase \ X3FW', you could change this to 'MyCmdBase \ MyFW'.

>>>Is there a way to hack the controls on a subclassed form in VMP4? For example, my subclassed version of frmDataEntry has command buttons that point to the Maxframe base classes. I want these to point to my subclasses, not to the VMP base classes. I can't seem to get to these controls with XXDTHACK. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

>>Maybe you generated a set of subclasses that doesn't contain the items you want to switch to? By default, yoou don't get the lot. The is a utility that will do this for you ifnecessary. The only restriction I have found is that you switch all occurrences of a type (unless you edit the grid manually).
