We used to use two printer attached to a computer to print either to a dot matrix or a laser printer depending on the nature of the report. The program would redirect the report to the correct printer without the input from the user. ie we used SET PRINTER TO LPT1 or SET PRINTER TO LPT2 and the simply print the report without an echo. I have tried this in Visual but not getting the results that I want.
