I tried that experiment almost two years ago... I'm sure more advacnes have been made to those other three products than VFP has since then.

I would not bother. You may not like the outcome....< s >.. Benchmarks are a tricky issue. Unless you are talking about databases, if it is not in the benchmarking handbook, it does not count.
