>The Benchmarking Handbook is THE bible for conducting benchmarks. Many people think that benchmarks are an ad-hoc process. There are defined benchmarks out there. TPC-C. TPC stands for the Transacton Processing Performance Council. The C benchmark is a business throughput measure. All of these benchmarks are very formalized. They measure specific things. And, they are carried out in a very specific manner in very specific conditions. THIS is the way benchmarks are done. Anybody who writes a magazine article and claims he/she is benchmarking, unless they are using these protocols, he/she has zero credibility.

Is there any good websites for this?
Do they include VFP in any benchmarks?
Insanity: Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
