Based on what I'm reading, it's clear that it will be a new, yet-to-be-released version of Crystal Reports that ships in the next version of Visual Studio and not Crystal Reports 8.

I'm familiar with pivot features in MS Excel and Brio Enterprise. I've seen OLAP/cube analysis in Seagate products but nothing that I would call a pivot.
