I am working a small project which requires me to automate the process of finding airline ticket prices. This client bids contracts for the government, and as part of their quote they need to estimate how much travel is involved and how much the airline tickets will cost. Right now they manually go and search for an average ticket with no travel restrictions (something that allows last minute purchase). So, I was wondering if anybody knew of any sites that carry that kind of information (in a standard format so it is easy to automate) and that don't use super low rates full of restrictions (like expedia)... Similarly, they use the CONUS rates to estimate the maximum allowable daily expenses. Is there a place that has that kind of information in an easy format to automate?
