Doubt that. Why would they waste their time...??? < s >... To steer over would imply a level of caring, which they do not.
The correct perception of VFP in the public is in the latest VBPJ in which the editorial is titled "VB Makes Partner" In the text, the assertion is that since VB is built on the same runtime as VC/C#, it is of equal standing. The text goes on to single out the fact that VFP is the only VS language not to be carried forward to the CLR. From that, you can infer what the perception will be.
