Actually, file transfer protocols are not handled by the modem, but the software; implementing protocols using VFP and MSCOMM is a lot of work. My advice would be to either use a third-party product like CommTools which implements various file transfer protocols as a part of their functionality, or if possible, use a scriptable communications product like ProComm to handle all the work, and run them as needed using the VFP RUN command or something like API_APPRUN.
