Anna,

The version is 4.00 again !
I've got a dual boot PC with Win2000 on the other partition - and CREATEOBJECT("shell.application") works fine here.
Unfortunately the client I'm working for at the moment insists I use NT4 - so I'll have to try to find a way of making the more up to date dll stay - could I modify it's date/time stamp to make sure it's later than the version 4.00 ?
I'm off on holiday for a week or so now - to France - if we can get there - you may not have heard in the US - but the French Farmers and lorry drivers are revolting again <g> and blockading the fuel stations and the Channel Tunnel.
C'est la via !
Thanks for your help
Anna
