After reading through everyone's comments on this, I think I'm with Craig in that a recommendation for Access/Office makes sense for some users (but not all). If that list was supposed to be all inclusive, it would have a "note" and then included in the note three possibilities for three conditions: Access/Office, VFP, VB/SQL Server.
I wouldn't get concerned over it, neither would I ascribe hidden motives to it or some indication that MS doesn't want
developers to use whatever tools that should be used for the job because, when you think about it, an FPD/FPW 2.5/2.6 app isn't gonna be a straight upgrade to any other tool.
