I have 2 users in my office who use Fox2x as a queryable spreadsheet. The previous programmer set them up for it, and I'm surprised he didn't choose Access for their needs.
In any case I'll be moving their small tables (300 records), queries and reports to VFP6, giving them a front end, and making their data mesh better with the rest of our budgeting/accounting software. (This small amount of very important data currently "meshes" by print-and-retype.)
Some people forget that there used to be a choice to have FoxPro as the database app with MS Office. Now Access is standard.
JVP's comment, "The fact that they did not say VFP tells you what you need to know" tells me that he sees this page differently than I do. I see what the guy in the "MS no longer cares about this" department threw together. That's all.
