>>My wife has a Palm III and constantly having to find and buy batteries is such a pain. For that reason alone I'm glad I got the Palm V.

>If I sync more than once per day and surf the web or download lots of programs, I can chew through batteris in 1 or 2 weeks. With only 1 sync per day, batteries last almost 2 months. But yeah, It would be nice if the PalmIIIe came with same nicads and could recharge in the cradle.

>If you are on a business trip and out of range of a cradle, is it possible to swap out the battery of a PalmV?
You can get a travel kit which contains a sync cradle and a power cord. The power cord comes with attachments for the different types of power outlets around the world.
Swapping the battery out requires opening the Palm up. I've never done it and it doesn't look easy.
