Nobody is telling you to dump VFP. If it works for you, great. Understand that the rest of the world may look at things differently. The issue you need to be concerned with is how intact the critical mass of developers in VFP can remain in order to keep the product viable.
Remember Charlie, there are things that will lie outside your scope of control.
