OIC....Just tested...does not look encouraging. I'll try some other tests, but the answer may be you have to reference the VCX ....

>yeah - I knew this - but it is inhereting from the actually .vcx - and NOT the "vcx" in the exe. for example - I can now throw away the exe and still open/use the mysubclass. I'm looking for it to inherit from the exe on the fly - in other words - be able to trash the actuwlly .vcx on the disk and still use/open it.
