I never said you had to either. And lets not start with the condescending tone.

For a few reasons:

1. The development team at the time knew and felt comfortble with VFP.
2. DataClas was a VFP-only product at the time.

You have to keep in mind the app was written over a year ago. If I were faced with the same decision today, VB would probably get the call. But again, it is not a slam dunk...
