>>>What are YOU talking about? Everyone has read the articles about M$ fudging benchmarks and forcing suppliers of its products to only support M$. We aren't talking about the EULA you get with your copy of Win9x/NT. We are talking about major company agreements like HP, Dell, IBM, etc.
>>
>>You are in no position to assert that company to company agreements MS signs with other companies have these restrictions. For starters, most if not all of these contracts have non-disclosure clauses in them.
>>
>>In other words: those who know can't say, and those who don't know have to make things up.

>That's exactly my point. You came in here as if you were the all-knowing contract guru. Do you read any other tech news besides the M$ driven ZD Net? It doesn't take a lawyers interpretation of a contract to read the news about M$ strongarming companies into supporting what they want or producing whatever benchmark results they want.

>I feel sorry for those who wear the M$ blinders because they are so scared of the "New Big Brother".

I'm not posing as anything. You are the one that just talks and talks and I haven't seen either benchmark numbers for your remark about JetDirect software nor which magazine / internet site has info on MS EULA restrictions.

I don't get you Linux zealots with your aversion against MS. If you want Linux to be great that's OK with me, just go and do it. But you have to badmouth MS and/or Bill Gates every time you talk about your favorite OS.

You don't see me trashing Linux or Linus Torvalds in asking for you to support your claims. Heck, I even went out two months ago and got myself a Linux box just to see what all the fuss is about.
