Blanking out the field didn't work, so I took my back up copy and just compiled it like it was. Magically I could open it in the form designer and the code was there. Thanks for jump=starting my brain. Now I have to find another way to appear busy this grand Friday.

>>>I have a very simple form. As it stands, it works. However, none of the code contained in the methods shows up in the form designer. If I do a browse on the .SCX all of the code is there. I need to make a couple of changes and want to use the form designer, but when I do,it completely locks up VFP. As I said, it is a very simple form and I could just as easily build a new form. Especially since I can access all of the code in the .SCX. This just has me puzzeled and I want to find the answer if it goes beyond just plain file corruption. Besides, this is Friday and it will keep me from doing anything real productive. <g>
