Well, keep in mind that you can still employ many of the programming techniques you might have used in other languages. For instance, that code I gave you is in a function called ChildrenRemain. I include this function in a BAS module called Common.BAS, which includes lots of useful goodies. And I include this BAS module in just about every project. So, to my mind, this takes one line of code: "IF ChildrenRemain()....." Same as I have always done in VFP with my complex "UpdateAllTables" class method.
