tell me, if VB is cool why VS include characters like VFP?
and if VB is cool why i need ADO, or another Activex (make in C for better performance)?
and if VB is cool why you ask why VFP is cool?
the people leave from Fox 2.6 to VB 3.0 because the IDE and Integration with Windows was better, after the marketing and books in VB is better, but without marketing thousands makes Apps in Fox , why?
ok, the legacy , ok ok, but VB is more easy , this a reason? i dont think so.
I Think many people use VB because have docs, and forums, and activex
many VB Dev are people what buy activex, and solutions , and the VB have Wizards
Wizards for programmers?

please

Best Regards

>Yes, in VB you can create ActiveX Controls. Did not put that one on the list. It definitely belongs there...

>>>Good question... I think part of it was to stiffle the the xBase language in favor of Basic. Also, I think it helped Access to have Fox, the competition under the thumb of MS. Just my opinion..
