>Fair guess...Just reading about Me in two Wash Post reviews, and it says Me contains absolutely no DOS whatsoever. In fact, one reviewer advises against trying to run any DOS apps on Me.

Not a lot of big innovations, but some good stuff for home users: flawless installation tests (unlike Win2K, e.g.), auto-backup feature, home-networking capability, excellent multimedia, to name a few...the one that I really liked was the quick-bootup feature - though this requires a very new machine with a new advanced BIOS system to work well.
Sounds interesting. I have done almost no reading or testing of Me up to this point. I dual boot Win98 and 2000 at home an luckily have not had any major problems. But the easier they make it on the home user the better...and that includes me! :)
