point... I realized my terminology screw up after I posted this, I tend to think of everything 'old' fox prior to Microsoft's purchase of it as "foxpro for DOS" generically and I forget it was actually called "foxbase" way back when.... which is what I was working with when I had to train end users on xbase'ish basics.
