PMFJI. I had the similar requirement in one program for printing invoices on a plain A4 paper. Since it was a plain sheet I wanted to fill up the page vertical lines and at the end of page to print the footer which is total amount of invoice. This was a year ago and believe me, till today I am not satisfied with the way I had to get work-around with VFP' bug with group footer. It has the option "Print when details overflow to next page", but it never prints no matter what all you try.
All I did was below:
- copy the contents of the table to a cursor
- check for how many lines I can accommodate on a single page and add blank lines to my cursor if the no. of records are less than the required lines.
