My first choice would be SQL-Server. I have yet to write an app that was not being used by at least 10 people. This does not preclude the choice of Jet.

The simple issue is that the DBF platform is something that has not been innovated in a very long time. The world quite frankley has passed it by. If your needs are simple, I suppose it works. However, from a security standpoint, it does not pass muster. And quite frankley, the continual requirement for me is security. That is the prima facie case for using SQL or Jet.
