Have a look at the reply I've sent to Treys reply to you for good way to make a cursor updateable. However, if you're trying to make an updateable view, there are (as always) a number of ways to do this.

The easiest way is to use the View Designer & create a query, paying particular attention to the Update Criteria page. This will allow you to set all the fields to be updateable, but the source table requires a primary index.
