Assuming this question applies from VFP to VFP you could create appwide timer that regularly check a central postoffice table for its ID.
Station A places a record with target ID, datetime posted and msg. Station X seeks its ID at intervals and if finds one acts accordingly. For these kind of timers I find it most effective using Bela Bodec's cpptimer whch you can find from files secion.
