I am using a view to update to a VFP 6.0 database. I just added some more fields and now when I try and issue a tableupdate command I get an error of "File is Too Long". If I remove some fields (it doesn't matter which ones I remove) then the tableupdate works just fine. There are now 163 fields in the table with a length of 2731. Is there an upper limit to how many fields or total length I can have? I can't duplicate the problem an the command window. The update works just fine but within my APP file is where the problem occurs. Thank you for any help.
