I used my Wise for Windows Installer and the msWinsock merge module to install on the offending box. When I run my GetIP.exe, I get an ole error
0x80040112 Class not licensed for use.

I created a GetIP project that has 1 prg set as MAIN that is as follows:

ows = createobject("mswinsock.winsock")
wait window ows.localip

The oleError occurs on the 1st line and if ignore the error, I get an "ows not found" as expected.

Searching Regedit for msWinsock yields a programID with mswinsock.winsock.1 as a sub-key and many more. Much the same as what I find on my Win2000 box.
