There are a couple of likely scenarios. One is that a source file was excluded from teh project and therefore doesn't exist on the production mchine. Another that a data environment can't find some or all of the files it's looking for if the paths on the production machine are different from the development machine.

Try the above suggestion of running the .EXE, compiled with debugging info from a command prompt to isolate it.
