Usually when we say 'framework' we mean code that we use for multiple applications. VFP 6 builds an application framework through its wizards. However if you write a Main.PRG, add a menu and a couple of forms it's an application not a framework.
If you make the code so generic that you can use it for several apps it's becoming a framework.
Go to a few websites like
Visual MaxFrame or
Visual ProMatrix or any of the others you can read about doing a brief search here on UT. You'll see what a framework offers - and why a lot of us are more than willing to buy one.
