>However, when look to new high-tech things, like n-tier, VFP guys understand it much more quickly. Just because VFP language more simple and less-detalized that allow more abstract levels.

>Very well. How then do you explain the volumes of books and articles that have been on the market with respect to VB and n-tier development? There is much more work published on doing N-Tier development in other tools than in VFP.
You got it! VB developers require A LOT of books to work. VFP developers require to read 1 public WEB site and go.
>Specifcally, why does the belief exists that VFP developers have an easier time grasping this stuff? I see the work that is being done in VB, and quite frankley, I am very impressed.
Because way of thinking. Not too complex, as for C++ developers, and not too simple, as for VB developers.
>I reject the notion that VFP developers in some way, have an advantage, a secret weapon if you will, that other developer's don't have.
No, not a secret weapon. And no advantage in TOOLs. BUT, advantage in intellectual side. The main weapon of all developers is just a THINKING.
AND, when someone say that VFP developers should be out of development, he/she probably not a developer. Because way of thinking.

The professional level of programmer could be determined by level of stupidity of his/her bugs
It is not appropriate to say that question is "foolish". There could be only foolish answers. Everybody passed period of time when knows nothing about something.
