Controlling Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and even Visio from within a VFP application is pretty straight forward, but what about controlling VFP from one of them. We'll take a look at using a word template which has a form with combo boxes that get populated from VFP as well as tables that are built dynamically using VFP data, SQL Server data or any other data source. Once you know how to configure a few things in Word using VBA and a few tricks in VFP you're on your way. I'll be demonstrate passing the word document and form as
objects to VFP and how you can then control anything you want in the other applications.

I will demonstrate how to run a Word macro from VFP's COM object
as well as how to simply populate the properties of Word from VFP. Use a Word form for input into Foxpro Tables!
