I am having occasional problems with Files on W2K Professional SP1, VFP6 SP4 , Adaptec SCSI , Seagate Cheetah, UPS. The problem has been corrupted Forms.
I started doing more frequent backups of entire Directories to CD. But then I found that recent files were not copied.

But if I put the VFP files into Winzip [Version 8 ] then the CD is happy to copy that zip file as one would expect.
I have an open incident with Adaptec on their Easy CD Software - but no resolution.

What does VFP do to saved files that is different in W2K that was not there in NT4 ? Both were on NTFS with write cach disabled.
