John, are you a VB developer now?< G > I thought you were a developer who used the right tool for the right job. I'm doing some of that myself. I have actually been using VB some lately (just to get a feel for it).
I think you make a good point that we should use the right tool for the job. It's just that so many have invested so much into learning VFP while MS pulls the rug out from under us. It's like the scene in the movie Mars Attacks where the Martians are saying "come back I won't hurt you", all the while firing lasers at the people. I continue to use VFP and will for the forseable future. Heck, maybe Rick Strahl will form a publicly held company, which we can all invest in, buy VFP, and then kick the crap out of MS!
