Yes, we have had threads on this before, the error does not pertain to all objects yet, as you say. However, "Yet!" is the operative word here, I think.

I definitely would avoid any Valid/Setfocus, anyway - besides being inconsistent to use it some places but not others, look what happened when vfp5 came out to much of our vfp3 Valid/Setfocus code :)
