Look at the transcript. A complex question was asked and a very short answer was given. And yes, if Jim or Ed did the same thing, not only would I do the same thing, they are professional enough to expect that the possibility of a follow-up question might be asked.
Do you think this does not happen to us when we speak at Devcon. I remember the Devcon in Orlando when I gave the first ADO presentations. Rick Strahl grilled me hard. Why? Because he is a professional and I am a professional. He is there to listen to what I had to say - not there to waste his time. To him, I gave an incomplete answer to something. He continued to probe until I addressed the issue to his satisfaction. Did I go crying to him afterwards? No. I thanked him because I thought it made for a better presentation.
Look beyond the personal detest that you may have for me and focus on the merits of the issue. Am I PITA? Perhaps.
I find it interesting that while you attacked me personally, you did not attack the merits of the question. No worries. I am used to this sort of treatment.
