Title:
Raw String Sending?
Does anyone have any suggestions, etc on how to slowly pump a binary string of info over TCP to a remote IP address on port #n? I have a freeware proto-project under way to send files to Apple IIGS(!) computers on a local LAN. The data shouldn't be sent faster than ~30k/sec and should be in 32k chunks. No COM, no XML, no FTP, no HTTP; I guess this would be a custom, very light transport layer.
I have been digging through the wwIPStuff code to address wininet but haven't seen anything yet that would let me do what I want.
Any and all thoughts would be appreciated for this hobby venture.
