I'm using GenMenuX for its ability to omit menu bars and pads through the "*:IF" directive. I intend to "redraw" the menu upon a user login, which is a modal form with a private datasession. If I step through the code, the mpr is called, it clears the menu, redefines each pad, then releases the pads just like I intended. After the mpr runs, the login form releases. At this time, all of the "released" pads and bars come back like magic. Is it the modal aspect or the datasession aspect that's causing this, and what can I do about it.
