Can't offer any help, but I have the same problem, same scenario. My Network Gods have chosen to live with it (I haven't). And it does seem to be an HTML help problem as it happens with some other help files too.
>It may really be a problem with HTML help, because I've seen a couple of similar crashes in IE help, but it mainly happens with vfp help. Since I received a new PC at the office, I often get an Access Violation Error: FOXHHELP.EXE when trying to use help. Our sysadmin made me a new win nt 4 profile and installed vfp6 sp4 on a different new machine, whose vfp help menu now points to MSDN Help. It still crashes with the same message. We're both puzzled.
