Yes, I have gotten this error before, but I never found out the cause. We develop an application that is used by many people, but I have only seen this error on one machine. Unfortunately, the machine was on the other side of the country, so I couldn't look at it myself. The person that was experiencing the problem was getting a new machine anyway, so that is how he fixed his problem. Still, I would have liked to have been able to find the cause. From what I got from the description of the error, it was occurring before the Visual FoxPro desktop was even showing, so it was before any of our code even began to execute.

There have been others on this board that have had the same problem. Look at thread #336378, and message #356847. Maybe their problems will be similar to yours.

Good luck.
