We all have "volunteered" doing "op" duties there; because we care about the content of the room & the other members; we don't allow flame wars etc like the main UT threads do.. The chat room, IMHO, is a much better resource than UT threads...

The problem with the ChanBot and "assigning" people is that those poeple may not be available.. As long as I've been involved with the chat room; it's been an orderly place with several of us (the more consistant participants) have shared the responsibilities very well.

If a "chanbot" should be installed anywhere; it should be installed to watch the threads that grow & the flame wars that happen in the main discussion threads.. NOT the chat rooms.
