>>Good guess... :). However, if I ever get to build my own bathroom here, I'll have one of original European ones (Italians are actually masters in the field), cost what it may.

Oh, I do, some parts of my face, about once or twice a week, needed or not :)
>>Downtown is walkable, sure, but then you'd have to drive, park and then walk. Though we do, ocassionally, take a walk around the neighborhood - it's actually very nice, except the pavements are designed using a lot of Rand() function - you never know how far will they go.

>I was suggesting that if your job was downtown there would be housing within walking distance of it. Though in many downtowns you would have high rent, no yard, and questionable public schools.
Seems like another catch-22: the walkable part of town is exactly where you wouldn't want to live :). I like the place where I am, except it takes at least a mile of walking until you get to something you need, unless walking for walking's sake is what you need. Actually, come to think of it, there are two non-residential buildings just a block or two away, but one is a maternity ward and the other is a church, which I don't have any need for.
BTW, why are kiosks forbidden around here?
