I have no choice but to use Visual Interdev (VI) for web development, as it is our corporate standard. It is the only tool I am aware of that will assist you in debugging ASP code, but it will not find the specific problem once you get into complex code. The tool is far from what I would like when compared to other development tools (VFP and VB as an example). I am not sure about Homesite and how well it works with ASP.

Many of the features of VI are not ready for prime time and can give you an expectation that will not be realized.
