I have recently been receiving the error message 'Error Initializing Application Object' when ever VFP5, or a compiled VFP program, loads in Windows 98. Uninstalling and then re-installing VFP5, followed by the Visual Studio 97 Service Pack, did not make the problem go away. It appears to be a registry problem. Does anyone have any ideas how to cure this?
