Hello,

I use VFP50. When we are making persistent relat. during database desing, we only can do it between indexes (Normally one-to-many).

But many times (if i am not doing something wrong) we have to 'invert' these relations in the form's DE making many-to-one relations. This is the case when a 'detail table' must 'see' parent records in more than one 'master table'.

Why VFP doesn't allow me to make relations between indexes in the form's DE; only between one (1) field and other indexes. Here is the problem: If i use compound keys, i have to re-write the relational expresions.

Is this solved in VFP60 ?
Am i doing something wrong ? or
Does anybody know why not?
