I've got tickets for 3 sessions of athletics and 1 of volleyball, can't wait !!! I was really keen for Swimming and Triathlon tickets but I missed out. The build up here has been amazing. As for "rooting" for American athletes, forget it !!! We're going to win all the Medals !!! The opening Ceremony is on in a couple of Hours and I'll be planted firmly in the lounge room with beer in hand.

There is lots of interest in Sydney 2000 here in Salt Lake City. The next Olympics will be here in about 18 months. All the TV stations have sent news crews down under. It's funny to watch them try to be Sydney Siders. I'm hoping to get some tickets for some of the events for our Olympics. Any rate, throw some shrimp on the barbie, find yourself a shiela and enjoy the games. I'll be watching as much as I can.
